We All Want The Same Things

It is strange to witness this political climate. I am not sure I have ever seen the nation so divided. People are actually severing relationships due to political beliefs. I can’t but help think that our differences are used against us- Despite the fact that we have more in common than we have differences.

Opportunity and Good Life

We all want the somethings. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from. It doesn’t matter what your religion is or what you do for a living. We all fundamentally want a better life for ourselves and our loved ones. We want our children to have opportunity. We want them to have the chance to do better than we did. We all want a chance at having the good life. The reality is we are collectively responsible for creating those conditions. Societies are a collection of men and women who make decisions. It is the decisions that we make that determine our present and our future.  There is no doubt in my mind that giving the right opportunity, the people will make the right decision. It is heart breaking to see that in this Democratic Republic not everyone has an equal shot running for office. The voice that would represent the people is muted due to special interest. Can we deny that it is not the same in Scranton? It is for this reason I am thoroughly excited about this election year. I want the people of Scranton to once and for all make that decision that will ensure a future for this city. Say no to the status quo and elect honest officials who will not sell you and your family to the highest bidder the way the public assets were sold off. Somethings are priceless and the people who hold public office must reflect this! #Savescranton.
